Medical Testing
Comprehensive diagnostic testing under one roof — from digital X-ray and EKG to complete lab panels and rapid point-of-care tests. On-site capabilities mean faster results and fewer trips to outside facilities.
On-Site Diagnostic Imaging
Hybrid Health Clinics equips every location with modern diagnostic imaging technology so that your provider can make informed decisions during the same visit. Eliminating the need to schedule separate appointments at outside imaging centers saves time and accelerates your path to diagnosis and treatment.
Digital X-Ray
Our on-site digital X-ray systems produce high-resolution images within minutes. Digital radiography offers several advantages over traditional film X-ray: lower radiation exposure, faster processing, enhanced image quality with the ability to adjust contrast and brightness, and electronic storage for easy comparison with future studies.
Common X-ray applications include evaluation of suspected fractures and bone injuries, chest imaging for respiratory complaints and pre-operative clearance, abdominal X-ray for gastrointestinal concerns, and musculoskeletal imaging for joint pain and soft tissue injuries.
EKG/ECG
Electrocardiogram testing records the electrical activity of your heart and is a critical tool for detecting arrhythmias, signs of heart disease, and other cardiac conditions. Our 12-lead EKG machines provide rapid results that your provider interprets during your visit. EKGs are commonly ordered as part of pre-surgical clearance, occupational health exams, cardiac symptom evaluation, and routine wellness screening for patients with cardiovascular risk factors.
Laboratory Services
Our in-house laboratory performs a broad array of blood tests, urinalysis, and point-of-care screening tests. For specialized panels that require reference laboratory analysis, we coordinate specimen collection and transport to ensure seamless processing and timely results.
Commonly ordered lab work includes:
- Complete Blood Count (CBC) — measures red blood cells, white blood cells, hemoglobin, hematocrit, and platelets to screen for infection, anemia, and blood disorders
- Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP) — evaluates glucose, kidney function, liver function, and electrolyte balance
- Lipid Panel — measures total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, and triglycerides for cardiovascular risk assessment
- Thyroid Panel (TSH, T3, T4) — screens for hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism
- Hemoglobin A1C — provides a three-month average of blood sugar levels for diabetes screening and management
- Urinalysis — screens for kidney disease, urinary tract infections, and metabolic conditions
- STI panels — comprehensive testing for sexually transmitted infections
Walk-ins are welcome for most routine lab work. If your test requires fasting, we recommend morning appointments and advise fasting for 8 to 12 hours prior to your blood draw.
Rapid and Point-of-Care Testing
When speed matters, our rapid testing capabilities deliver results in minutes rather than days. Point-of-care tests are performed and interpreted on-site, allowing your provider to make treatment decisions during the same visit.
TB Testing
We offer both tuberculin skin tests (TST/PPD) and QuantiFERON-TB Gold blood tests. The skin test requires a return visit in 48 to 72 hours for reading, while the blood test requires a single visit with lab-processed results. TB testing is commonly required for employment in healthcare, education, food service, and certain occupational settings.
COVID-19 Testing
Rapid antigen tests provide results in approximately 15 minutes and are ideal for patients with active symptoms or those needing quick confirmation for travel or return-to-work clearance. PCR tests offer higher sensitivity and are processed through our laboratory partner with results typically available within 24 to 48 hours.
Strep and Flu Rapid Testing
Rapid strep throat tests and influenza A/B tests produce results within minutes using a simple throat or nasal swab. Rapid identification allows your provider to prescribe appropriate treatment — such as antibiotics for strep or antivirals for influenza — during the same visit, reducing the duration and severity of illness.
All testing at Hybrid Health Clinics is performed by trained medical professionals using FDA-approved testing platforms. Results are documented in your medical record and can be shared with other providers or employers as needed with your authorization.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an appointment for lab work or X-ray?
Walk-ins are welcome for most medical testing services during regular business hours. If your lab work requires fasting, we recommend an early morning visit. Appointments are available for patients who prefer a specific time slot.
How quickly will I get my test results?
Rapid point-of-care tests (strep, flu, COVID antigen, urinalysis) provide results within minutes. X-ray and EKG results are typically interpreted during the same visit. Standard lab work sent to our reference laboratory returns within one to three business days.
Do I need a doctor's order for lab work?
For most tests, our on-site providers can order the appropriate labs during your visit. If your outside physician has provided a lab order, bring it with you and we can draw the specimens. Walk-in lab work without a prior order is available for many common panels.
Does insurance cover medical testing?
Most insurance plans cover medically necessary diagnostic testing, including lab work, X-ray, and EKG. Coverage varies by plan and reason for testing. Our front desk can verify your benefits before your visit. Self-pay pricing is available for patients without insurance.
Can you do testing for my employer?
Yes. We provide medical testing services for employers, including drug screening, occupational lab panels, chest X-rays, audiometry, and pulmonary function testing. Employer accounts receive electronic results reporting and consolidated billing. Contact our employer services team to set up an account.
Do I need to fast before blood work?
Fasting is required for certain tests, including lipid panels and fasting glucose. Generally, an 8 to 12 hour fast is recommended, during which you should avoid food and beverages other than water. Your provider or our scheduling team can advise whether fasting is necessary for your specific tests.
